It is one of the most remarkable projects designed by Bato Studio & team. The client reached out to our team with a simple brief of creating a multipurpose room based on existing spaces in their office building with a New York style.

Initially, the space split into two enclosed rooms. One was a meeting room, and the other was a print room. Team Bato studio quickly recognized that the merging of these rooms would provide a modernized and open-plan layout that matches the new trend in commercial spaces.

By converting two small rooms into a communal area, team Bato studio provided our client with better use of the space. It reflects our philosophy in Design – the emptiness is the key element to provide better adaptation for our client’s needs. The communal room has a kitchenette, seating area, collaborating space, and an indoor vertical garden to create a better ambiance.

To create the feeling of New York industrial style, we selected black paint for our metal frames, low maintenance epoxy floor, and concrete finishes for the ceiling.

Team Bato believes that even a light touch on the existing spaces can create refreshed feelings if the architect does it correctly.
